List of my summer wines (and other beverages) 2017 Here’s a selection of the bottles I’ve encountered during summer. Most of them are recommendable in one way or another. Wines from Domaine Janasse rarely make me disappointet. Brand new Ambar Wine Bar in Stockholm features plenty of nische stuff. Piemontese debrief. Very attractive wines from winemaker Susanna Galandrino at La Gironda. Natural bliss from Az Ag Milana called Ventisei Zero Uno. 100 % Malvasia. Unusual local stuff for lunch in La Morra: Nascetta from Ellena Giuseppe Titouan … the horse at Tassarolo and a great white wine. Lunch wine from Roero Arneis/Pelerin/Portinale. Great looking, boring taste. Elegant, hardcore biodynamic stuff from Castello di Tassarolo. Palate-cleansing Gavi from La Meirana. Fruit-drenched Fiano from Tenuta Scuotto. Well-made Morellino di Scansano from Terenzi. Above average Ribera del Duero from Ferratus. Del Cambio in Turin picks a great Friulano from Collio. More good bottles from Susanna Galandrino at La Gironda. Amazing Pelaverga from Burlotto in Piedmont. Attractive Jura typicity in Jean Bourdy’s biodynamic chardonnay. Weird wine from weird place, Ästad Vingård in Halland. The most consistent Solaris wine in Sweden, Inkognito from Klagshamn. Lineup at Paul Svensson’s and my last appearance at SVT Gomorron. Stylish Benjamin Leroux. Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay and Pinot Noir in this creation from Mathieu Coste. Sweet love from Amós Banares in Penedès.
